Dr. Kenny Kinsey joins the podcast to discuss his role in the conviction of Alex Murdaugh and what's next in the case of Stephen Smith.
Chief Kenneth Kinsey is an accomplished law enforcement professional with over 13 years of experience in criminal investigations and forensic analysis. He is recognized as an expert in forensics, having provided testimony in state and federal courts on topics such as bloodstain pattern examination, crime scene investigation and reconstruction, and fingerprint examination. Kinsey has led or supervised investigations into more than 100 homicide cases in Orangeburg County and 750 throughout the state. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Resource Management, a Master of Science in Criminal Justice, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree.
Dr. Kinsey has been retained by Bland Richter LLP and the family of Stephen Smith to help investigate his 2015 murder. Dr. Kinsey, who has worked on over 850 death cases and recently launched his own investigative consulting firm, Kenny Kinsey & Associates LLC, visited the crime scene in Hampton County on March 29. He has expressed his commitment to helping the Smith family find answers about their loved one's death. This comes after Dr. Kinsey's captivating forensic analysis during the recent murder trial of Richard "Alex" Murdaugh, which earned him praise from jurors and audiences alike.
