• Clerk of Court Rebecca Hill's co-author Neil Gordon has been making the media rounds in the wake of Alex Murdaugh's defense team, citing the book "Behind the Doors of Justice" as potential grounds for a retrial of Alex Murdaugh.
Mr. Gordon responded to my comment on this morning's episode of @SurvivingTheSurvivor. I break down Vinnie Politan's interview with Neil Gordon and his response in pointing out others who are capitalizing on the Murdaugh Family's tragedy.
• “That ’70s Show” star Danny Masterson was sentenced Thursday to 30 years to life in prison for r******ng two women more than two decades ago at his Hollywood Hills home. Masterson, 47, displayed no visible emotion after Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Charlaine Olmedo threw the book at him.
"Mr. Masterson, I know that you’re sitting here steadfast in your claims of innocence, and thus no doubt feeling victimized by a justice system that has failed you," Olmedo said just before dispatching Masterson to prison. "But Mr. Masterson, you are not the victim here."
• Variety has reported that Lifetime will hold a two-night event for “Murdaugh Murders: The Movie,” led by Bill Pullman playing Alex Murdaugh, the powerful South Carolina lawyer, who turned out to be living a secret crime-filled life.
