There are less than three weeks remaining until a crucial evidentiary hearing that will decide if Alex Murdaugh, a convicted killer, and disgraced attorney, will be granted a new trial. Becky Hill, the elected official accused of jury tampering in Murdaugh's initial trial, is now the subject of not just one but two criminal investigations led by the South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division (SLED).
Hill is the author of "Behind the Doors of Justice: The Murdaugh Murders". Yesterday, her co-author Neil Gordon spoke out regarding her plagiarism in writing the book due to "deadline pressures" and what they are doing about it.
